During your initial appointment Dr Peter Marinovic, Dr Elizabeth Blackstock or Dr Tirza Harley will assess your general dental and medical health. They will also enquire about any dental concerns you may have and medications you are currently taking.

Dental x-rays will be taken during the visit to help us find tooth decay, infections, tumours, and teeth that have not come through. If you have any x-rays taken by a previous dentist (less than 2 years old) you may request that they forward them to our surgery via email at admin@whitesdentalcare.com.au. If additional x-rays are necessary they can be taken at our surgery.

One of our dental hygienists will then look at your teeth and gums and see if they are healthy. They will clean and polish your teeth, apply fluoride and provide guidance on how to look after your teeth and gums.

If you are with a private health fund, please bring your card on the day of your appointment so we can process the insurance claim for you. At the end of the appointment we will provide you with a treatment plan outlining all options and fees so that there are no surprises.
