Dr Peter Marinovic
Dr Peter Marinovic graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science with honours. He worked in several private practices before he established Whites Dental Care in 2003. He is continually attending dental courses to keep up with the latest technology and techniques. Dr Peter Marinovic has advanced training to perform implant tooth replacement and wisdom tooth removal. He is particular on having an exceptionally run practice with highly motivated staff. He prides himself on being reassuring, patient and calm during his treatments. Dr Peter Marinovic is a member of the Australian Dental Association, NSW Dental Association and a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.
Dr Tirza Harley
Dr Tirza Harley graduated from University of Adelaide in 2009. She first worked in a private practice in Jindabyne, NSW where the interest in orthodontics was spawned. She then moved to No Brace Centre in Melbourne, where she worked for over three years. Throughout her time at the No Brace Centre, Dr Harley spent many hours continuing her professional development in orthodontics, both in Australia and internationally. These experiences have given her an understanding of when and how to use these techniques to produce outstanding results. While Dr Harley is not a specialist orthodontist, she is passionate about early intervention orthodontics, and is currently undergoing further study toward a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics with the City of London Dental School. Dr Harley has extended her scope of practice to include beautiful direct composite veneers and restorative care in order to create fresh natural looking smiles in her adult patients because, as she says, “they deserve confident smiles too”.
Dr Josephine Ha
Dr Ha graduated in 2005 from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (honours). She began her career working alongside Maxillofacial surgeons, ENT and plastic surgeons in the Auckland Hospital, performing dental surgeries and managing jaw fractures and facial lacerations. Following this in 2008, Dr Ha entered into private practice in Auckland, NZ where she practised family dentistry with a keen interest in wisdom teeth surgery under IV sedation. Since 2010 she has been working in private dental practices in Sydney with a strong focus on Invisalign, orthodontics and facial injectables. Dr Ha’s career has also seen her in the role of clinical tutor for the Australasian Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics in Botox and Fillers in dentistry from 2012-2015. In addition to this, she has obtained her Graduate Diploma of Orthodontics through the London Dental School. Dr Ha is also a member of the Australian Dental Association. Within the practice, Dr Ha enjoys helping anxious dental patients overcome their phobia and achieve their best smile. She believes everyone’s journey and concerns are unique, and so deserve a collaborative, versatile and strategic approach, in order to be cost effective and minimally invasive.
Oral Health Therapist
Miryam graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017 as an Oral Health Therapist (OHT). Miryam is dual qualified in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. This allows her to provide expanded services within our practice including dental procedures such as fillings and extractions on children up to the age of 18 as well as cleans, polishes and oral hygiene instruction for all patients. Miryam is passionate about preventative dentistry and endeavours to make dental visits as relaxed as possible whilst helping patients achieve the best oral health they can. Miryam is always looking to broaden her knowledge and incorporate the latest techniques into her practice.
Michelle completed the Bachelor of Oral Health degree at the University of Newcastle in 2009. Michelle is a caring, gentle and friendly dental hygienist who enjoys making patients feels comfortable during their active maintenance appointment. Michelle is enthusiastic about all aspect of oral health and enjoys educating and motivating others. Michelle likes to keep up to date with recent evidence based studies relating to oral health and disease. Michelle is an active member of the Dental Hygienist’s Association of Australia. Michelle enjoys providing in-chair teeth whitening for patients with a special occasion approaching or just to improve a beautiful smile.
